We Won’t Be Shaken

This video only gives you a taste of how the actor William Houston portrays Moses in this series.

“With Your power I will set my people free” a line spoken by Moses in the Bible series on the History channel.

One of my favourite parts of this series was the story of Moses.  William Houston who plays Moses made me really think about my belief in God. There was a conviction in his posture or being of how he knew that God would not fail them and no matter the circumstance or doubters he knew God would come through, that he would not be shaken.  This is what I got from his body language.

The following song by Building 429 talks about “So I’ll stay in full surrender”, “My mind is set on nothing else You and you alone” and “So I will never fear I will trust in you,” but as Christians do we just say these things or do we believe them?  Often times I catch myself saying “I am afraid…. or I fear…” yet it says in the Bible (the Word of God) that I am an overcomer.  By the blood of the Lamb and the Word of my testimony God has put the enemy under my feet (Revelations 12:11, Psalm 110:1, 2 Samuel 22:40 NLT, Acts 2:35 NIV).   Greater is He who is in me than he (satan) that is in the world (1 John 4:4) .  And If God is for me who can be against me? (Romans 8:31)  Answer… no one!
