We have a Choice to speak life

Deuteronomy 30:15 (NLT)“Now listen! Today I am giving you a choice between life and death, between prosperity and disaster.

Deuteronomy 30:19 “Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live!

Our words affect us and everyone around us. God hopes we will choose to Speak LIFE into all of our circumstances.

Ephesians 4:29 (MSG)Watch the way you talk. Let nothing foul or dirty come out of your mouth. Say only what helps, each word a gift.

Ephesians 4:29 (AMP)Let no foul or polluting language, nor evil word nor unwholesome or worthless talk [ever] come out of your mouth, but only such [speech] as is good and beneficial to the spiritual progress of others, as is fitting to the need and the occasion, that it may be a blessing and give grace (God’s favour) to those who hear it.

How do we do “Speak Life” you ask?

We use our mouth. Did you know the mouth is mention 367 time in the Amplified Bible and Tongue is mention 150 in the New Kings James Bible. I suggest you do a month or two bible study on the the word mouth.

Proverbs 18:21 (AMP)Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and they who indulge in it shall eat the fruit of it [for death or life].

How do we change what we say?

It say we are to instruct our mouth. So say aloud “I guard my mouth and my mind is wise and instructs my mouth and I add learning and persuasiveness to my lips.”
